Bake A Cake!

Let’s bake a cake
For the baby’s sake
Pick up a pan
Bake a chocolate tan
Let’s Melt that butter
Add some sugar thither
Blend in those eggs
Little rum from that keg
A tea spoon of vanilla will do the trick
Bring in an aroma - add a pleasant kick
Now knead in some flour
Use that knuckle power
A pinch of baking soda
Use a spatula
Chocolate chips
Coloured cherry tips
My favourite picks
Give a vibrant colour - another one of my tricks!
Line up a tray
Heat the oven, I pray

Voila! Voila !
See the mixture turn brown
Our cake is ready
Do wear your crown!

    Hi Guncha, this is such a complex topic atleast for someone like me who doesn't know if cake is baked in an oven or a microwave or cooking gas and the way you have portrayed it in poetry (not even English) is amazing.

The Mummy Thousands of years In the twilight of history, A knight galloped Across the territory. Over the hills Across the desert, To woo a dame A beauty, to treasure. Many a mile he covered For many a day, To reach the castle The goal of his way. The hour was of twilight Exhaustion, slight Wonderstruck he stood Anticipating the sight. Age Wise ! As the years pass by, And I grow older. I find myself at a loss, As I sit back and ponder. A decision I must now take, To age with grace, And embrace, Those peculiar quirks that one begins to trace. On head, body or the face ! And know it’s just a phase A part of a life lesson, That time and tide wait for none ! I look at those little imposters, That within my head I foster That threaten to auster, And change my posture !
